The Argo Gold Mill and Tunnel were both originally built in 1893 to help transport and process the millions of dollars worth of gold spilling from the local mines. Today, visitors can venture in to the deep darkness of the mine, as well as tour the mill and finally take a hand at panning for gold and minerals. The mine is located 35 miles west of Denver, just off Interstate 70.
